Take a look at the outline of our unique search process. Rogers Group works within four phases, ensuring optimum results at the end of each phase. Keep in mind that as each search differs, so does the process. We tailor to each search and add consultative value whenever possible not only to find the top talent in the industry, but also to help our clients solve organizational problems.
 

SEARCH PROCESS

Phase 1


Rogers Group’s Role

  1. Assemble the search team to immediately gather information on your company, competitors, and overall market conditions.
  2. Conduct a meeting with the client interviewing team to understand their organization’s charter and the expectations for the position.
  3. Assess the challenges for the search, agree on a successful search strategy, and craft a position profile.
  4. Search proprietary database for similar searches thereby leveraging our relevant contacts and networks.
  5. Create an initial slate of “hot candidates.”

Client's Role

  1. Clearly communicate expectations and needs.
  2. Keep us informed of specific companies or candidates they would like us to pursue.
  3. Approve the position profile and company description.
  4. Review candidate list and make necessary adjustments.
  5. Work with us to determine an interview process identifying which client team members will conduct first round and second round interviews once the final candidate is selected.

Phase 2


Rogers Group’s Role

  1. Contact the candidates listed on research and assess their level of qualification.
  2. Pursue hot candidates by using our research process, which goes beyond networking; it gives us a detailed view of all potential source companies.
  3. Identify every individual currently performing this position and every candidate who could be promoted into this role within each source company.
  4. Provide a final candidate slate of 5-7 top candidates (retained format).
  5. Conduct all initial interviewing with prospective candidates (retained format).
  6. Report a comprehensive candidate summary along with recommended action steps (retained format).

Client's Role

  1. Review the candidate slate and make necessary adjustments.
  2. Identify candidates to interview in Phase 3

Phase 3


Rogers Group’s Role

  1. Schedule interviews and coordinate logistics, including travel and hotel arrangements.
  2. Provide feedback to the client and the candidate concerning post-interview thoughts and impressions.
  3. Continue to recruit and source, ensuring that we have a list of “back-up” candidates.

Client's Role

  1. Interview candidates.
  2. Provide us with post-interview impressions.
  3. Select lead and back-up candidate.

Result

FINAL CANDIDATE SELECTED

 

Phase 4


Rogers Group’s Role

  1. Obtain the list of references from candidate.
  2. Pursue non-supplied references.
  3. Conduct comprehensive background check.
  4. Check references and provide the client with a report.
  5. Provide the client with market compensation data.
  6. Ask candidate for open issues and total compensation requirements.
  7. Assist with the offer process
  8. Monitor the resignation process and develop a transition strategy.

Client's Role

  1. Prepare and make offer to the final candidate.
  2. Provide candidate with relocation information.
  3. Prepare offer.
  4. Obtain acceptance of offer.
